Summary: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and control of all warehouse inventory, ensuring materials are properly received, stored, tracked, and accessible to support Production and internal operations. This role owns the development and enforcement of inventory management best practices — including cycle counting, location management, and material handling standards — and drives continuous improvement to minimize discrepancies, reduce waste, and maintain a reliable, audit-ready warehouse environment.

Salary range: $95,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities: receiving, inspection, put-away, staging, and internal material movements
  • Maintain an organized, efficient warehouse layout to support productivity and safety
  • Ensure accurate labeling, binning, and storage of all raw materials, components, and finished goods
  • Develop and enforce SOPs for all warehouse processes, with emphasis on receiving, put-away, cycle counting, and material handling
  • Own inventory accuracy for all warehouse-held materials, with an expectation of maintaining system accuracy at or above 99%
  • Plan and execute cycle counts and physical inventories; analyze and resolve root causes of variances to prevent recurrence
  • Monitor stock levels and partner with Planning/Procurement to prevent stockouts and excess inventory
  • Coordinate with Production to ensure timely staging and delivery of materials to the line
  • Work with Quality on non-conforming material handling, quarantine, and disposition
  • Partner with Fulfillment/Shipping on finished goods handoff from warehouse to outbound operations
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in compliance with all safety policies

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong background in inventory control and warehouse operations, including demonstrated ownership of accuracy metrics and KPIs
  • Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems and Excel or similar tools
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience in an operations environment
  • Lean Manufacturing certification from an accredited institution, or minimum four years of lean management implementation experience

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written communication and verbal skills
  • Proven ability to set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self and staff
  • 5S and Six Sigma certification or implementation is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Computer literacy required; including advanced skills in Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
  • Previous experience managing and leading a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and mentor a team
