About the Role
As a strategic Business Partner on the U.S. People & Culture (P&C) team, you will help deliver PMI's people agenda and support the development of a high-performing manufacturing organization in Wilson, NC. As a member of the factory leadership team, you will partner with leaders and employees on workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and change management. Working closely with P&C colleagues across manufacturing sites and corporate functions, you will provide practical HR support in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Your Day-to-Day
  • Support execution of US P&C initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Partner with leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, capability building, and talent pipeline needs.
  • Support succession planning and workforce insights.
  • Serve as a trusted P&C partner to leaders, managers and employees.
  • Coach managers on engagement, culture, team effectiveness, and leadership practices.
  • Support change management initiatives that improve agility and performance.
  • Coordinate engagement and employee listening initiatives.
  • Support learning and development programs.
  • Guide leaders on talent and performance practices.
  • Advise employees on career development and growth opportunities.
  • Support compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations.
  • Maintain people data, prepare reports and identify process improvements.

Who We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or HR leadership role within manufacturing; consumer goods experience preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing expertise (organizational pillar) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in large, matrixed and/or global organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Experience with workforce planning, organizational effectiveness and talent development.
  • Employee relations experience with sound judgment on escalation.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Annual Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
