We have a current opening for Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner the would work primarily from our office in Dallas, TX.
Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring a seamless and engaging process for executive level hires while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Manage full recruitment process including defining roles and responsibilities, sourcing, assessments, offer negotiations and onboarding.
  • This role will be key to contributing to Royal's growth and have direct contributions by delivering best-in-class executive level candidates as we grow in current markets and expand into others.
  • Partner with VP of Talent on strategic hiring initiatives by maintaining and building connections in the market of currently employed high caliber talent.
  • Develop creative methods to build company brand and recruit hard to find applicants; source/hire from established candidate pools/pipelines
  • Screen sourced/applied applicants, and have an understanding and approach of where candidates could best fit within the organization.
  • Track updates, notes, etc. in ATS system (Workable, transitioning to Workday Jan. 2027)
  • Schedule and participate in interviews - provide candidate information; resumes/summaries, etc.
  • Provide regular updates, guidance, and stats to hiring managers regarding open positions and candidate statuses via email, manpower meetings, and in person conversations.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes as needed

Build Strategic Candidate Pipeline
  • Consultative approach, deep market expertise and ability to partner with various levels of management including executive leadership to identify, assess and secure high-caliber candidates who align with Royal's business objectives and culture.
  • Build relationships with potential candidates for future/potential positions & and maintain contact
  • Track and develop creative ways to maintain contact including cards, lunches, swag, etc.
  • Attend talent acquisition meetings to assist on strategy for building talent pipelines
  • Work with talent acquisition team on recruiting campaigns and creating marketing material
  • Represent Royal at industry job fairs, industry events and in-house events
  • Research and connect with opportunities for Royal to represent at events

Employee Retention & Workforce Development
  • Assist with the onboarding process by providing communication, onboarding schedules up until hire date.
  • Retain Royal Electric Workforce by maintaining strong relationships with candidates and develop new ones by conducting monthly check ins, regular job-site visits (monthly/bi-monthly) and promote ERP.
  • Resume development as required for specialty roles for projects (i.e., QC Manager)

Compliance & Technology
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, hiring regulations, company policies, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Utilize recruitment technologies, AI-driven sourcing tools, CRM platforms, ATS, and automation solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive recruiting tasks while maintaining a high-touch candidate experience.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience recruiting within the construction industry recruiting on roles from executive level to operations.
    • Electrical contractor experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Experience and ability to use creative sourcing techniques to effectively fill positions.
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient utilizing Applicant Tracking System(s) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of EEO, FLSA, and diversity recruiting

Salary Range:
$100,000-$125,000/year
