Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Tax team. In this role, you will lead the preparation and review of complex tax returns, serve as a key client contact, and mentor junior staff. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen their technical tax knowledge while advancing into a leadership path within public accounting.
Requirements
  • Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate basic knowledge of client's businesses.
  • Complete tax planning, along with occasional specialty duties.
  • Prepare and assist in reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, real estate, and exempt organizations.
  • Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, and other documents for submission to the IRS or other taxing authorities.
  • Manage multiple clients, budgets and production goals.
  • Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA Certification preferred or eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
  • 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. At this time, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas
