Job Summary

NCS Engineers has added a position for an in-person talent acquisition Manager with experience in recruiting for Water-Wastewater Engineering firms to join us as an Engineering Recruiter in our Human Resources Department. The candidate will partner with hiring managers and our HR team to perform full-lifecycle recruiting, including developing sourcing and recruiting strategies, networking and creating pipelines with passive candidate pools, and leading recruiting strategies. The ideal candidate has experience in the AEC industry in the Water/Wastewater Engineering sector recruiting for professional services consulting positions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

ยท Minimum of Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

ยท Minimum of 10 years successful recruiting experience performing full lifecycle recruiting, including 5 years recruiting in a corporate setting within the AEC industry.

ยท Experience recruiting in Water/Wastewater Engineering organizations (preferred).

ยท Professional recruiter certifications (Preferred).

ยท No supervisory responsibilities

Expertise in the Following is Required

ยท Recruiting in the AEC industry for positions in Civil Engineering, Electrical, and Environmental Engineering.

ยท Demonstrated sourcing and recruiting expertise; ability to network, implement creative sourcing strategies and locate top talent.

ยท Self-driven and motivated individual who is comfortable working in a highly agile and fast paced environment.

ยท Ability to influence within all levels of an organization

ยท Demonstrated capabilities in multi-tasking, ability to juggle multiple open requisitions

  • Creating detailed recruitment reports and metrics. Presenting and interpreting recruitment reports and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail in candidate evaluation, documentation, and process execution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

ยท The position will require up to 10% travel to California and Texas including overnight travel associated with firmwide office visits and conferences.

ยท Position will require various HR duties as required when recruiting is not occurring.

Experience in the Following is Preferred

ยท Experience with recruiting for water/wastewater engineering positions.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Creating a positive candidate experience from initial outreach to close
  • Developing strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to deeply understand hiring needs
  • Source qualified candidates through multiple channels (Linked in Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc.) while moving the interview process forward towards offer approval and negotiation
  • Manage the recruiting process while ensuring data integrity in our ATS (Rippling)
  • Develop and implement creative, effective sourcing and recruiting strategies
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through various channels by utilizing Linked in, Job boards, and/or networking events
  • Coach Hiring Managers on best practices and optimal candidate selection
  • Lead and assist with Talent Acquisition projects
