About the Role

Critical Mass is seeking a strategic Associate Director, Talent Acquisition to lead and scale our recruitment efforts across North America and EMEA, with primary focus on building world-class talent acquisition operations. This is a key role responsible for developing and executing regional hiring strategies, leading process optimization initiatives, fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and driving the success of a high-performing global recruitment team.

What You'll Own

  • Develop Regional Strategy & Process Architecture- Create and executeglobaltalent acquisition strategies aligned with global goals. Design scalable recruitment workflows that enable efficient team operations.

  • Build Strong Candidate Pipelines- Source talent proactively across North America. Develop deep market knowledge andestablishrepeatable sourcing frameworks that scale.

  • Workday Platform Leadership- Own Workday Recruitingoptimization, data integrity, and team enablement documentation.

  • Partner Strategically- Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring needs andprovidetalent market insights. Be the trusted advisor on recruitment best practices.

  • Lead & Develop Your Team- Coachand lead a team of 5 Global TA Specialists. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and career growth. Provide clear expectations and regular feedback.

  • Track & Optimize Performance- Monitor recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire). Use data-driven insights to improve effectiveness and inform strategy.

  • Champion Employer Branding- Build Critical Mass's reputation as an employer of choice in the digital agency space

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in high-growth or digital agency environments

  • 3+ years of experience leading and scaling recruitment teams across geographies

  • Deep understanding of the NAM talent market, including sourcing channels, employment regulations (US & Canada), and cultural nuances

  • Workday Recruitingexpertiserequiredprocess design, and reporting

  • Proven process design and operational improvement mindset

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills

  • Genuine passion for building teams, developing talent, and creating efficient processes

$135,000 - $150,000 CAD
