TSMC Arizona is looking for a Hookup Engineer to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a Hookup Engineer, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values - Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.
Job Description:
Your main responsibilities include:
  1. Deep understanding of the specific functional area and its processes to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and production requirement.
  2. Collaborate cross organization to develop project plans specific to their functional area, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  3. Track project progress within their functional area, identify potential issues, and escalate concerns to the project manager as needed.
  4. Identify and mitigate risks specific to their functional domain that could impact project success.
  5. Facilitate communication cross organizationally, ensuring alignment on project goals and updates.
  6. Work closely with counterparts to ensure smooth integration and coordination across the project.
  7. Identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes within their functional area to optimize project execution.
  8. Willing to support new Fab in Europe, Japan, and headquarters in Taiwan for a certain period.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
  1. Bachelor's degree and/or above. Major in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Automation Engineering related fields, Construction engineering, Building science, Construction science, or Civil engineering.
  2. Ability to communicate and work in an English environment is a must (language ability in Mandarin, German, and Japanese is a plus).
  3. Experience with equipment installation is preferred.
  4. Proficiency in fundamental mechanical principles and concepts
  5. Good problem-solving skills, communication ability, team spirit, active learning attitude.
