Responsible for maximum performance results in three areas: managing employees, customer satisfaction and financial performance for multiple outlets: Patagonia, Palisades Tahoe Logo Co, and KTee's Logo wear.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base salary range: $64,480 - $89,463.31 per year

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Ensures customers and employees are treated courteously, safely and efficiently.
  • Provides supervision and guidance to team in accordance with Palisades Tahoe policies and employment laws. Manages staff in a proactive, feedback driven environment.
  • Interviews, hires, trains, and appraises performance of employees at all locations.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the softgoods team to deliver outstanding guest service and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor KPIs such as UPT, ADS, conversion, and capture; implement daily actions to improve performance. Meets or exceeds all daily, weekly and monthly budget numbers. Puts together monthly Sales Reports for top selling items.
  • Maintain mobility between multiple locations ensuring consistent best practices at multiple locations.
  • Maintains harmony among team members and resolves grievances.
  • Determines work priorities, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Performs all duties of sales associate and cashier.
  • Manages schedule in accordance to Labor Budget.
  • Manages all aspects Workday time approvals and workflows.
  • Monitors inventory, transfers product between locations to maintain an efficient level of inventory.
  • Demonstrates leadership in creating relationships with guests to maximize service and sales goals; coaches team for improved performance.
  • Responds to customer and management complaints.
  • Ensures accurate inventory and pricing in Retail Pro system.
  • Understands and trains on Retail Pro system.
  • Develops and manages store budget. Reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation and those expenditures stay within budget limitations. Does monthly variance reports.
  • Completes a weekly walkthrough of store with assistants, analyzes merchandise, store presentation, standards and other needs, creates an action plan for the week and ensure follow-ups.
  • Ensures all promotional items are sale priced and price-pointed in groups.
  • Accounts for all security issues involving cash, theft, liability and premises.
  • Assists accounting with fiscal yearend in inventory to Auditor's specifications.

  • Ensure product presentation aligns with Patagonia's visual standards and storytelling approach.
  • Work with Buying and Distribution Center Team's on regular Logo replenishment to support KPI's.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 40 % or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 35lbs. Must capable of occasionally squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and balancing, able to climb ladders and shovel snow. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will frequently be exposed to extreme cold, wetness and/or humidity, and occasionally blizzards and extreme storm conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the work place is usually moderate.

Education and Experience:

Example a Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in retail sales or related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in supervisory position.

Preferred

  • Experience in ski industry
