Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Hospitalist to join our expanding team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice newborn care in a highacuity environment with the autonomy, collaboration, and support you need to thrive.   • Flexible scheduling designed to support long-term worklife balance
  • 8-hour daytime shifts?no deliveries, no overnight call
  • Daily responsibilities include newborn nursery rounding, supervising family medicine residents, and performing circumcisions
A Robust, High-Acuity Practice
  • 25-bed Level III NICU (ADC: 17)
  • 36-bed Newborn Nursery (ADC: 14)
  • ~3,500 annual deliveries
  • Care for all gestational ages (excluding surgical cases)
  • Advanced services include body cooling, oscillators, and a dedicated RN/RT-staffed regional transport team
Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Team
  • Work alongside experienced Neonatologists, NNPs, OB Hospitalists, MFM specialists, and telehealth subspecialists
