Taekwondo Master / Instructor (Full-Time / Part-Time)
Tiger J Taekwondo – Long Island City, NY

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Location: Long Island City, NY (near 7 train – Vernon Blvd.)

About Us
Tiger J Taekwondo is a leading martial arts academy offering high-quality Taekwondo training for children, teens, and adults. We focus on building confidence, discipline, and physical fitness in a positive and structured environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach group and private Taekwondo classes (ages 3 to adult)

  • Lead engaging, structured classes for all belt levels

  • Demonstrate techniques, forms, and sparring

  • Provide feedback and mentor students

  • Maintain a positive and disciplined class environment

  • Assist with belt tests, events, and demonstrations

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Qualifications

  • WT Black Belt (Kukkiwon certification required)

  • Experience teaching Taekwondo (especially children preferred)

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • Energetic, professional, and reliable

  • Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred

  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
