Tactical Vehicle Operator Jobs (NOW HIRING)

As a Field Service Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on tactical or commercial diesel platforms and is capable of supporting new vehicle launch activities on programs such as the JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) and other multi‑vehicle configurations. This role requires strong diagnostic abilities and detailed documentation of root cause, repair actions, and engineering issues. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. This is a DEPLOY ONLY role working overseas on a 90 day rotation basis working a 60 hour work week. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training. • Perform expert-level maintenance and repairs on complex aerospace and defense systems.
• Diagnose and resolve the most challenging technical issues.
• Experience with Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) , Humvee, LTV, or other military tactical vehicles.
• Experience supporting vehicle launch, validation, or early production efforts.
• Knowledge of Military /DoD/ DoW maintenance practices, MESL, or technical directives.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams during prototyping or product improvement cycles.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all field activities and equipment status.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Oversee inventory management for spare parts and tools.
• Generate comprehensive technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Travel extensively to customer sites, potentially including international locations.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Advanced understanding of troubleshooting techniques.
• Provide technical support for computer systems and networks.
• Install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair various communication systems, including networks, cable distribution, COMSEC, and cryptographic devices.

• Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time. Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location. Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required 60 hour work week. A United States Government Security Clearance is required for employment. • Associate's degree in a related field of study
• Experience with FCC or FCC GROL ASE certification (Automotive Service Excellence), ideally in diesel engines or medium/heavy truck.

• This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.
