The Opportunity:
Booz Allen is seeking a dynamic and experienced Tactical Assault Kit Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and expand the deployment of our Sit(x) product. As a key player on our team, you will drive innovation and operational impact, leveraging your knowledge of tactical situational awareness tools like the Team Awareness Kit (TAK). This is a unique opportunity to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance real-time situational awareness and decision-making for federal clients.
You will act as both a SME and strategic leader for Sit(x), helping our clients integrate live data sources, improve operational visibility, and maximize mission outcomes through advanced situational awareness capabilities.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience working in operational or tactical environments
  • Experience with technology adoption in tactical domains
  • Ability to collaborate with tactical customers such as military, defense contractors, or organizations with operational focus
  • Ability to integrate and optimize technical solutions to meet operational needs
  • Ability to address real-world challenges with technologies such as digital Command and Control (C2) systems
  • Ability to effectively liaise between technical developers and end-users in tactical environments
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working with military or defense tactical systems, Special Operations, or multi-domain operations
  • Experience with kill chain concepts and digital fires integration
  • Experience interfacing with tactical customers such as Special Operations units, field engineers, or defense teams
  • Experience leading, training, or managing teams in high-tempo operational environments
  • Experience with Fires C2 or Fire Direction systems
  • Knowledge of emerging technology, advanced digital simulation platforms, or innovative tactically focused systems
  • Possession of excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
