LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team.


Location:Camp Murray, Washington


Job Description:

LMR is seeking experienced Physical Therapists to provide embedded musculoskeletal care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization services in support of Air National Guard Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Operators.

The Physical Therapist will function as an independent healthcare provider responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and preventing musculoskeletal injuries while improving the readiness, durability, and operational effectiveness of tactical athletes.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations and movement assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation programs.
  • Provide injury prevention, corrective exercise, mobility, and return-to-duty interventions.
  • Manage acute and chronic neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Maintain patient documentation in Government-approved medical systems.
  • Provide initial assessments for newly assigned personnel.
  • Develop individualized training and recovery plans.
  • Educate operators on injury prevention, movement quality, recovery strategies, and overall readiness.
  • Advise unit leadership on injury trends, prevention strategies, and program improvements.
  • Participate in unit training and approved operational activities.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Current unrestricted Physical Therapy license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Physical Therapist supporting:
    • Tactical military athletes,
    • Collegiate athletics,
    • Professional athletics,
    • Aerospace, test pilot/astronaut, or similar high-performance populations.
  • Current CPR and AED certification.
  • Ability to meet all installation access requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience embedded with Air Force Special Warfare, TACP, SOF, or other tactical communities.
  • Experience with operational physical therapy and return-to-duty programming.
  • Familiarity with military medical documentation systems and DHA processes.
