Established in 2004, TACG is a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation, a global leader in automotive components, material handling equipment, and logistics solutions.
We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and driven Senior Production Control Specialist to join our team in Pendergrass, Georgia. Whether you're an experienced production planner or a supply chain professional looking to grow your career, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on our manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
As a member of our Production Control team, you'll help keep our operation running smoothly by ensuring materials, inventory, production schedules, and customer requirements stay aligned.
Key responsibilities include:
โœ… Developing production schedules based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity
โœ… Managing raw material and finished goods inventory levels to support Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing
โœ… Investigating inventory discrepancies, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions
โœ… Coordinating cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory accuracy initiatives
โœ… Supporting material procurement from domestic and international suppliers
โœ… Maintaining bills of materials (BOMs) and part number data
โœ… Collaborating with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Customer teams to ensure operational success
โœ… Driving continuous improvement activities through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and TPS principles
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ year of experience in Production Control, Planning, Inventory Control, or Manufacturing Operations
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Technical Skills:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Experience with MRP and inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPS, JIT, 5S, and Kaizen principles
  • Experience with AS400, Power Link, and ITEMS is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
