Job description

Overview

Supervises and coordinates activities in the Pit Gaming area, including the direct supervision of the Dealers.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Ensures dealers are following the road maps and effectively providing breaks to other dealers.
  • Efficiently operating programs such as:
  • OASIS (Casino Management System)
  • TableLink (Table Management System)
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • New Wave (Title 31 Tracking Application)
  • Opening and closing of games under the direction of the Shift Manager.
  • Requesting and/or recording events such as, fills, credits, openers and mid shift closers, player ratings, TAC cards, accrual slips, section logs, or other paperwork as requested by the Shift Manager.
  • Ensures that all dealers assigned to your section are following proper procedures and documenting any irregularities to the Shift Manager.
  • Assisting dealers with game irregularities by providing exemplary guest service while ensuring the assets of the tribe are protected.
  • Follows the direction of the Shift Manager and relays information back as appropriate.
  • Handles initial guest disputes and ability to recognize when to elevate the dispute to the Shift Manager.
  • Observe and correct errors in procedure that are committed by dealers.
  • Analyzing customer play for possible cheating, scams, counters, or other unusual activity.
  • Ensures assigned areas are clean and safe for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all Human Resource policies and procedures, and promote an environment that appreciates diversity and treats all people with respect, fairness and consistency, prohibiting discrimination and harassment of any kind.
  • Remain in the assigned section until relieved.
  • Secondary Duties:

  • Perform all functions of a Dealer position when requested.
  • Perform requested tasks at sites on or off premises for special functions when requested.
  • Assist the Shift Manager, or Sr. Management when directed for tasks not specified above.
  • Request guest comps when play or account dictates.
  • Monitor rated players for input into database tracking system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Pay range: $32.00 to $41.60 per hour

    *Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am. 

    This is not a smoke free workplace.  Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
