Title:Tableau admin with Experience in Linux or Windows
Location:Boston, MA (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
Basic Tableau Administration:
Create and manage Tableau extracts.
Track and report on Tableau usage statistics.
Manage Tableau licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
Advanced Tableau Administration:
Diagnose and resolve performance issues within Tableau Server.
Monitor system-level performance, including CPU, memory, IOPs, and network performance.
Implement best practices for performance tuning and optimization.
TSM Automation:
Develop and maintain PowerShell and Python scripts for Tableau Server management.
Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
Manage backups, including uploads to Azure Blob Storage and other cloud solutions.
Tableau Multi-node Design and Migrations:
Design and implement multi-node Tableau Server environments to ensure high availability and scalability.
Plan and execute migrations and upgrades of Tableau Server across different environments.
Ensure seamless transitions with minimal downtime and disruption.
