Who are you?
Security-cleared Professional: An active DOD Secret Clearance, or a Top Secret Clearance, is required for consideration.
Education and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field or experience in lieu of degree. Other requirements include:
  • 5 years' experience designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to support business analytics and decision-making processes.
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Preferred experience:
  • Experience with other data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Certification Requirements: Tableau (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Desktop Certified Associate).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support business analytics and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve business performance.

  • Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and availability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for Tableau development.
