The bonus helps offset the costs of moving, such as transportation, housing, and other relocation expenses. Typically, this bonus is paid out after the new employee starts working and may require the employee to remain with the company for a certain period to retain the bonus. This incentive is used to recruit top talent and fill positions more quickly in competitive markets.
