Job description

SUMMARY:

Assist Shift Manager in the supervision of the Table Games department during the assigned shift. Insure that all areas are staffed and direct all Table Games personnel throughout the shift. May serves as witness on major jackpots and sign checks. Maintain the highest standards of customer service, game protection and integrity in the Table Games department.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the Shift Manager in the absence of the Shift Manager
  • Oversee department operations during the assigned shift to insure exceptional customer service and game protection.
  • Make decisions on personal check cashing limit extensions
  • May witness all major jackpot wins and sign jackpot checks
  • Communicate with customers to answer questions and resolve disputes
  • Implement all Casino procedures relating to Table Games operations
  • Perform special assignments as assigned by Table Games Director or Shift Manager
  • Assist/develop shift schedules and schedule employees
  • Insure that shift is properly staffed at all times
  • May assist with emergency H/C, S/C drop as required (i.e., lack of personnel)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Performs computer and administrative duties

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years experience working as a Table Games employee in a casino with live house banker game with similar betting limits and at least three (3) years experience as a Table Games supervisor or higher.
  • Ability to work effectively with coworkers and the public
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of effective money handling procedures
  • Ability to make change and mentally perform basic math calculations
  • Skilled in resolving customer and employee relation issues
  • Knowledge of craps, roulette and blackjack
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED (required)

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
