TOC Operators coordinate with emergency services, dispatch road crews, and provide real-time information to the public to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow. Their role is vital in minimizing delays, enhancing safety, and supporting incident response on roadways.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a TOC operator, and why are they important?

To thrive as a TOC (Traffic Operations Center) Operator, you need a solid understanding of traffic management principles, incident response procedures, and typically a background in transportation, public safety, or a related field.
