T1 Associate information

What is a T1 Associate?

A T1 Associate typically refers to an entry-level or Tier 1 associate position within a company, often in customer service, operations, or fulfillment roles. T1 Associates are responsible for handling basic tasks such as answering customer inquiries, processing orders, or assisting with day-to-day operations. These roles serve as the first line of support and are essential for ensuring smooth business operations. The specific duties may vary depending on the industry and company, but T1 Associates generally perform routine tasks under supervision.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a T1 Associate?

To thrive as a T1 Associate, you need a high school diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, and basic computer literacy. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), handheld scanners, and productivity tracking tools is often required. Strong teamwork, communication skills, and reliability help T1 Associates excel in fast-paced environments. These abilities are essential for maintaining efficient operations, meeting productivity goals, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.

What are some common challenges faced by T1 associates in a fast-paced customer support environment?

T1 Associates often work in high-volume support settings where managing time effectively and maintaining composure under pressure are crucial. They may encounter a wide variety of customer inquiries, requiring quick thinking and adaptability to resolve issues efficiently. Balancing multiple tasks, such as responding to chats, calls, or emails while adhering to quality and response time standards, can be challenging. Additionally, T1 Associates frequently collaborate with higher-tier teams for complex cases, making clear communication and teamwork essential for success.

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. We're focused on building advanced American manufacturing and we're passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy.
The Role
T1 Energy is looking to hire an Associate, Investor Relations to support the execution of T1's investor relations strategy and serve as a key operational partner during earning cycles, investor engagement, and market communications.
You will work closely with the EVP, Investor Relations and partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Communications to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant communication with the investment community.
This is a strong early-career opportunity for someone who wants exposure to public company reporting, capital markets, and executive-level communication.
What You'll Do
  • Support quarterly and annual earnings preparation, including presentations, script, Q&A materials, press releases, and related disclosures.
  • Analyze financial performance, operating metrics, analyst estimates, and peer trends to inform investor messaging.
  • Coordinate investor and analyst meetings, conferences, and executive briefings; track and synthesize investor feedback.
  • Maintain investor-facing materials, IR systems, and CRM databases.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Communications to ensure accurate, timely, and Regulation FD-compliant disclosures.

Who You Are
  • Financially curious and markets oriented.
  • Structured and deadline driven.
  • Comfortable in handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Calm under earnings-cycle pressure.
  • Interested in learning how capital markets shape business strategy.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Investor Relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, or FP&A.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and capital markets.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

The T1 Way
We move fast, expect accountability, and treat people with respect. We also have a no-jerks policy: we don't tolerate big egos, bad behavior or "that's not my job attitude". Be sharp, be honest, be human. If you can hold the line and have a sense of humor, you'll fit right in.
T1 Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants and do not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristics.
