JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead month-end and system roll forward month closing process.
  • Partnering with ProMach Shared Services, manage, analyze, and review month-end Journal Entries as a key contributor to determine ways to streamline the month-end timeline utilizing AI and reporting tools while taking ownership to ensure alignment to subledger support and auditability.
  • Develop and lead Income Statement & Balance Sheet review process supporting month end results.
  • Review General Ledger detail for any potential trending concerns and errors; follow up with business partners and perform necessary corrections.
  • Complete and ensure revenue recognition reviews are compliant by partnering with Controller, Project Managers, Sales, and GM on the calculation of recording percentage of completion (POC) and nested POC with sister companies for both internal and external reporting.
  • Manage and coordinate order setup and billing process, ensuring accurate, timely invoicing aligned with contractual terms and financial reporting requirements.
  • Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs and ensure quotes meet margin targets.
  • Point of Contact for intercompany transactions and reporting.
  • Owner of properly recording lease, inventory and fixed asset transactions and balances.
  • Support fellow employees and business partners with questions and concerns regarding financial information and system transactions, including Concur invoicing and travel expenses.
  • Identify root cause issues impacting accounting while offering recommendations for system improvements by partnering with cross functional teams.
  • Identify and coordinate efforts to streamline Service billing process including managing the timing of matching revenue and cost as required including segregating and reporting of associated cost related to warranty and after shipment cost as required.
  • Partner and coordinate efforts with material team to ensure compliant cycle count program while coordinating and preparing required monthly reporting.
  • Complete "what-if" scenarios (volume, material cost changes, labor rates) and analyze the impact of volume discounts, customer specifications, and distributor discounts.
  • Work with engineering, project management, and procurement to validate costs.
  • Coordinate and prepare audit requests & compliance reporting.
  • As a key representative for Fogg, manage and coordinate efforts to support ProMach Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) initiative to develop Internal Controls framework to standardize procedures across all Promach Sister Companies.
  • Learn and leverage new reporting tools, such as AI tools, Spotlight and Tableau

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance.
    • 5 plus years of general accounting experience with prior experience in supervisor role with manufacturing-cost experience preferred.
    • Hands-on Manager with ability to provide direction and training to direct reports.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and accuracy are required.
    • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Excel; using formulas and functions to drive automation and efficiencies.
    • Experience with ERP Programs (Syteline preferred)
    • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to react quickly to providing solutions and resolving issues.
    • Ability to stay focused while managing multiple tasks/projects, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others toward mutual objectives and ability to influence across cross functional teams
