Job description

U.S. Water Services Corporation/BCI is a well-established and diverse water and wastewater utility organization specializing in utility maintenance, operations, engineering and construction services. U.S. Water is a fast paced and rapidly expanding company headquartered in New Port Richey, Florida with a staff of over 700 employees in twenty states.
BCI Technologies is currently seeking a Systems Project Manager. The Systems Project Manager is responsible for seeing projects through from start of design to closeout documents. A Systems Project Manager will need to handle multiple projects at the same time. The tasks they will oversee and be responsible for are:
  • Attend project meetings and able to answer questions about the project
  • Review Plans & Specification for the project and understand the scope of work and all instrumentation and control required
  • Providing information and guidance for the hardware design of the system
  • Providing information and guidance for the software design of the system
  • Review, approve, and submit submittal packages produced by the hardware and software teams
  • Create purchase request for the materials for the project
  • Schedule personnel resources for the project
  • Review the instrumentation and control panel builds as they are occurring
  • Oversee Installation and commissioning of the project
  • Oversee the creation of the O&M Manuals
  • Providing all close out documents

Skill Set:
  • Familiar with Water and Wastewater processes
  • Project Management experience
  • Read and Understand project Specifications and Drawings
  • Read Control System Electrical Schematics
  • Familiar with AutoCAD Electrical software
  • Understand PLC coding
  • Know how to use PLC development software (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, etc.)
  • Know how to use Microsoft Office (prefer Microsoft A+ certified)
  • History of Control System Panel Building
  • Understand building and modifying PDF files

Note: the skill sets are the ideal set skills for a project manager. I know to is going to be hard to find someone with all the skill sets listed so with each applicant we will have to judge what can live without and what they can learn over time.
