Job description

 

TITLE: Systems Integration and Test Engineer

Work Location: Orlando, FL

Required: Secret Clearance 

W2 Hourly Contract Only 

Work Schedule: 4/10A-2nd Shift

Hourly Rate Range: $35.00 - $41.00 with limited benefits

           *** W2 hourly Contract Only with a possible extension, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C.  

No exceptions (Sorry)  Active Secret Clearance is Required ***

Exciting opportunity for a Secret Cleared Systems Integration &Test Engineer in Orlando, FL.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience: 

  • Active Secret Clearance 
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 3-5 years of professional experience; or 1-3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. 
  • At least 2 years of experience with 
    1. C++
    2. Integration
    3. Working in a System/Software Integration Lab (SIL) performing test planning, procedure development, and execution of manual and automated tests.
    4. Working in an agile team environment using daily scrums, sprint cadence, program increments, and epic based released schedules.
    5. scripting automated tests and data analysis (i.e. Python, MATLAB, etc...)
    6. Both hardware and software integration with an ability to use COTS tools or bespoke tools to evaluate software to the requirements, identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide resolution recommendations to system and software engineering.
    7. Analyzing Software Problems

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
  • Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
  • Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
  • Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
