Advanced Engineering Technician Taunton, MA Pay Estimated: $32.33 - $37.33/Hour Active Secret Clearance Required to Start We are hiring an Advanced Engineering Technician in Taunton, MA to support prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment within secure defense engineering environments. This role requires experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, troubleshooting, calibration, manufacturing test equipment, process improvement, and Secret-cleared engineering support activities.

Responsibilities: Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation. Operate manufacturing, development, diagnostic, and test equipment, including: Oscilloscopes Signal generators Automated test programs Specialized test apparatus Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and adjust tools, systems, and equipment. Support prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, and laser/light transmission device activities.

Conduct, analyze, and document statistically based experiments to establish process parameters and improve operational performance. Implement and document complex process improvement solutions within engineering and manufacturing environments. * Design and construct tooling, fixtures, and support hardware for specialized technical tasks.

Organize, analyze, and interpret technical data to identify root causes, process trends, and corrective actions. Support multiple technical assignments across manufacturing, development, testing, and engineering operations. Qualifications: * U.S.

Citizenship is required by Federal Law. Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required at time of hire. Associate's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience. Experience using computers and software applications to support technical and engineering activities. * Solid knowledge of computer systems, engineering test equipment, and accepted technical theory.

Experience using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized diagnostic or test equipment. Experience supporting manufacturing, test, development, or engineering environments. * Experience troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and supporting electromechanical or electronic systems.
