Cloud Platform Engineering Manager

We're looking for a dynamic Cloud Platform Engineering Manager to own the strategy, delivery, and evolution of our enterprise cloud platforms. In this role, you'll lead a talented team, shape our cloud roadmap, and ensure our platforms are secure, resilient, and cost-effective - enabling faster delivery of mission-critical applications that protect livelihoods and futures.

What You'll Do:
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing cloud platform engineering team through hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • Own the design, implementation, and day-to-day operation of enterprise hybrid cloud platforms that streamline and accelerate application delivery.
  • Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices that enable consistency and scalability.
  • Embed security, compliance, and regulatory requirements directly into cloud platforms through automated controls and standardized deployment pipelines.
  • Ensure platform reliability by managing availability, resiliency, service levels, and incident response processes.
  • Drive cloud financial excellence by overseeing budgets, FinOps practices, and ongoing cost optimization efforts.
  • Partner with business and IT leaders to align cloud strategy and platform roadmaps with enterprise priorities and engineering needs.
  • Lead complex, high-visibility initiatives such as cloud migrations, application modernization, and transitions to standardized cloud architectures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 9+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading technical teams in complex environments, particularly in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering.
  • Deep expertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and modern cloud development practices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, observability, and resiliency principles.
  • Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305) are preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect technical solutions to meaningful business outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Reliable, regular attendance and a strong sense of accountability.
