Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Utility Revenue Specialist to support accurate and timely utility billing by identifying, investigating, and resolving billing discrepancies. This role is critical to maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Investigateand resolve billing errors utilizing the customer information system(CSS).
  • Processbilling corrections and adjustments in compliance with company proceduresand audit standards.
  • Interpretand apply utility tariffs, billing policies, and regulatory practices.
  • Researchclient billing issues as directed.
  • Maintaindetailed records of billing activities using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Contributeto process documentation and suggest updates to billing procedures foroperational efficiency.
  • Supportvarious ad-hoc billing projects as needed.

Requirements
Requirement
  • Minimum8 years transmission system protection experience.
  • Engineeringdegree from an ABET accredited college/university or high school diplomaor equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or related fieldpreferred.
  • ProfessionalEngineering (PE) license registration
  • Proficientwith the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Stronganalytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Abilityto manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Technicalanalyses utilizing appropriate computer modeling techniques.
  • Timemanagement, organizational, oral, and written communication,interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Provenexperience in system modeling and fault analysis software (ASPEN, CAPE,ETAP, or EasyPower), and Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel,Power Point, and Access).
  • Experienceapplying protection system engineering practices and principles in thefollowing areas: transmission line, bus, transformer, shunt capacitorbank, reactor bank, feeder, remedial action schemes, and communicationassisted protection schemes.
  • Familiarwith the application of NERC PRC standards for compliance.
  • Strongknowledge of relay coordination studies, and development of associatedprotective relay settings for systems ranging from 12.47 kV to 345 kV isrequired. Experience with 500 kV systems is a plus.
