SummaryWe are looking for an awesome electrical systems engineer to join our research and development department. We are creating and introducing a new series of electronics into our x-ray product offerings in the marketplace. You will be joining a diverse R&D group that develops and integrates a high voltage imaging chain for major and developing OEM partners and has a lot of fun doing it. If you can handle challenging product requirements and deadlines, work with a broad range of technical backgrounds, handle success and failure with an indomitable spirit, and work through the rigors of R&D work - we would love to talk to you!
The ideal systems or integration engineer will have extensive experience developing and integrating the high voltage chain of Medical or Industrial X-ray or CT imaging systems. You must have the ability to lead and support the hardware and software development as well as system integration and testing for medical imaging. You will be responsible to interface with mechanical and electrical engineering functions to integrate, interface, and develop sub-systems into our partners imaging systems. You will also be responsible for interfacing and guiding our OEM partners through the integration of sub-systems and maintaining a good working relationship with our partners. The systems engineer will drive system integration, testing, and develop continuous improvements to the sub-system and customer experience.
Experience in system integration, imaging, and working with multi-disciplinary team in a regulated environment is required.Job Description

Requirements:

Demonstrated desire and ability to learn and apply what is learned

Strong overall systems engineering skills integrating electro-mechanical systems - preferably medical or industrial generator integration with x-ray tubes

Strong overall electrical engineering skills and understanding (circuitry, analog circuitry, controls, test methods and systems, programming and software tools, etc.)

Experience integrating and debugging systems and interfacing to analog and digital control.

Familiar with medical imaging and imaging requirements

Experience in testing and evaluating X-ray power generation

Familiar with software tools

Generate requirements and testing documents.

Skill Desired:

Familiar with medical system and regulatory requirements

High Voltage X-ray power technology experience is very desirable.

Familiar with analog and digital control design

Familiar with basic Python programming

Education:

- MS degree in applicable discipline or BS degree with 1-2 years of experience as a test engineer or electrical design engineer.

Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.
