Position Summary
Wild Horse Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and expand our presence in the healthcare staffing industry. This is a true sales role responsible for generating new business, building long-term client relationships, and increasing revenue through strategic outreach and consultative selling.
The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of proven business development experience specifically within healthcare staffing, understands the unique staffing challenges healthcare facilities face, and has a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new business opportunities with skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare organizations.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and industry events.
Conduct discovery meetings to understand client staffing needs and present customized workforce solutions.
Negotiate service agreements and pricing while maintaining company profitability.
Partner closely with recruiting teams to ensure successful placement fulfillment and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts within the CRM.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Develop long-term relationships that generate repeat business and account growth.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
Represent Wild Horse Staffing professionally in virtual and in-person meetings, conferences, and networking events as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 2–3 years of business development or outside sales experience within healthcare staffing.
Demonstrated success generating new business and consistently achieving sales targets.
Strong understanding of healthcare staffing services, workforce challenges, and client expectations.
Experience selling staffing solutions to healthcare facilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
Existing relationships with healthcare facilities or healthcare decision-makers.
Experience working with travel healthcare staffing, per diem staffing, allied health staffing, or nursing staffing.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
