Business Development Manager (Restoration & Construction Services)

Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand market presence within the property damage restoration and reconstruction industry. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-based environment and understands how to generate, nurture, and close opportunities. You will play a key role in developing referral partnerships, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across residential and commercial markets.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a business development and sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Identify, prospect, and secure new referral partners (plumbers, property managers, insurance agents, adjusters, commercial accounts, etc.)
Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat and referral business
Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and presentations to educate partners and clients on services
Manage and grow a sales pipeline using CRM tools and lead tracking systems
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience from lead to project completion
Respond to and resolve client concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction and retention
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
Track performance metrics, report on KPIs, and adjust strategies to maximize growth
Participate in networking events, community outreach, and marketing initiatives

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, or account management
Experience in restoration, construction, mitigation, or related service industry strongly preferred
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong understanding of relationship-based selling and referral network development
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to self-generate leads and build a book of business
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
Highly organized with strong follow-up and pipeline management skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
