The Technical Part:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls within pharmaceutical or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and automation systems.
  • Experience with GMP environments and validation processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
  • Lead I&C scope throughout project phases, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Review and approve instrumentation and control system designs, including P&IDs, control narratives, and automation architecture.
  • Act as the primary liaison between automation vendors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper installation, calibration, and integration of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Support CQV activities, including FATs, SATs, commissioning protocols, and qualification documentation.
  • Coordinate system turnover to Equipment Owners and CQV teams, ensuring documentation completeness and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and control systems during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity, 21 CFR Part 11, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
