Job description

Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing EHR and other clinical support system training to all new staff/faculty/ and incoming students and residents. This includes all new hires and incoming class orientations. Specialist will also provide ongoing training to current GSDM community upon request. Specialist will be responsible for the creation of all training materials as it pertains to the trainee's specific role. This includes but not limited to, developing training manuals, handouts, classroom based training and development of online training needs. Specialist will also be responsible for tracking trainee's progress and provide any follow-up training as needed. Specialist will create assessment materials and deliver progress reports to the trainees direct report to ensure success and/or any gaps in performance that may need to be reviewed. Specialist will be a key point of contact as it pertains to all GSDM's (EHR) and other clinical operating systems. They will be identified as a 'superuser' of current system and/or any other system that GSDM may transfer to. They will be a key part of the EHR working group and assist in leading the implementation of new data system for the entire GSDM clinical team. The Training Specialist will also assist in other training initiatives as it pertains to clinical needs as directed by the Office of Clinicall Affairs using university and/or outside platforms as needed. Including but not limited to; patient portal, ticketing system, PowerBI, SPS and SAP.


Required Skills

Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience required.
