Job description

The Senior Project Manager ensures projects are successfully completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards while effectively managing risks, stakeholders, and resources. Experience with financial systems is required, and familiarity with the insurance sector is a plus. 

* Hybrid role 3 days a week in office*

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and required resources.
  2. Execution: Lead the project team to complete tasks on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  3. Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and keep projects on track.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, core teams, and extended teams to align with project goals.
  5. Communication: Report project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and sponsors.
  6. Resource Management: Optimize the use of personnel, equipment, and materials for efficient project execution.
  7. Quality Management: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and processes are adhered to.
  8. Change Management: Document and manage changes in project scope, schedule, or budget.
  9. Project Closure: Ensure timely completion of deliverables and efficient project closure.

Qualifications:

  • 510 years of project management experience.
  • Proven track record managing finance system projects (5+ full project lifecycles, ideally in MNCs).
  • Proficiency in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Skilled in using project management tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels.
  • Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate teams toward project goals.
  • Excellent time management to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills for identifying issues, proposing solutions, and making informed decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive, independent approach.
