This role is for an upcoming proposal.


The System Engineer will perform systems engineering functions, including defining and documenting concepts of operations, operational/system requirements, and use cases to support system development; performing high-level system design; specifying system/component performance and interface requirements; and developing installation, integration, and acceptance test plans.


The System Engineer will also:

Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they best facilitate strategic and tactical efforts.

Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements.

Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams.


Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience OR With a degree in a relevant technical field (for example, computer science, mathematics, or physics), entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's or Doctoral degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. For all degrees, if program is not ABET accredited, it must include specified coursework.
