Job description

Why Wendy's
Working as a key member of the System Optimization Finance team you will work to execute the Company's System Optimization strategies. The Company's System Optimization strategies include, but are not limited to: the buying and selling of Company restaurants; due diligence, valuation, negotiation, deal book preparations, and execution of all Franchise Flip (M&A) transactions; financial review of Franchise to Franchise transfers; analyses of real estate portfolio management opportunities; and the execution of the Company's "Growth Ready" strategy. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, other internal stakeholders, and the franchise community to optimize and shape the future of the Wendy's System
Responsibilities
Analyzes P&L statements, weekly sales, and balance sheets. Ensures accuracy and integrity of accounting statements in business valuations. Prepares detailed valuation models for restaurants that have been identified as company or franchisee acquisition and divestiture targets. Prepares deal books to be provided to prospective buyers, working cross functionally, internally and externally, to ensure deal terms are captured accurately.
Executes due diligence process for assigned acquisition/divestiture and franchise flips. Ensures all necessary due diligence items are received, reviewed, and properly filed. Works with buyers and sellers to ensure all parties have access to due diligence items.
Prepares financial analysis to support the organization's franchise to franchise transfer & financing review process. Calculate impact to pro forma financial statements, financial leverage ratios, and cash flow, while memorializing key terms.

Pay Range: $81,000.00 - $138,000.00 Annually
What we expect from you
Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center (RSC) (1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017), or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs. #LI-Onsite
Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance & Accounting majors) or Economics with high academic achievement.
Expertise in financial modeling, management reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications. High proficiency in excel.
High attention to detail. Consistently proofs own work and displays accountability for work product.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret results. Understands implications and keen ability communicate with cross functional business users.
MBA or CPA preferred with 2+ years of experience.

The salary range for this role is $81,000-138,000/yr. The pay range actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. * The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
