This position will be 100% onsite at the Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West, FL.

Job Summary
The Systems Analyst collaborates with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze, implement, and maintain IT systems that align with organizational goals. This role focuses on identifying business needs, proposing solutions, and performing basic system configuration, testing, and maintenance. The Systems Analyst supports efficient system operations and provides technical expertise to enhance user experience and system functionality.
Essential Functions

  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business workflows and translate them into technical requirements and system configurations.
  • Analyzes workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and bottlenecks, proposing system solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • Provides technical support for various end-user operating systems, including but not limited to Unix, Linux, AS400 mainframe, Windows, and Windows servers.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between business users and technical staff, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of system needs and issues.
  • Develops, executes, and documents test plans to validate that system changes meet defined requirements and function correctly.
  • Performs basic system configuration changes and regular maintenance to support the application lifecycle and ensure system integrity.
  • Builds strong relationships with business partners and team members to promote collaboration and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conducts periodic reviews and audits in compliance with Information Security policies and procedures, ensuring system security and data integrity.
  • Participates in on-call duties to provide support for critical system operations and troubleshooting when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in healthcare-related systems analysis, IT support, or a similar field required
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT training and presentations preferred

  • Basic knowledge of hospital/clinical IS systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware.
  • Knowledge of system configuration, data tools and concepts, application implementations, optimization, report writing, or related applicable skill set.

  • Ability to accommodate varying levels of travel to attend meetings, implementations and customer support activities.
