Job description

The Network Messaging Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and support of enterprise messaging, endpoint management, cloud, and server infrastructure environments. This role serves as a key technical resource for Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, Intune, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies while ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient system operations. The Network Messaging Administrator partners with Information Systems team members and end users to support daily operations, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain system performance, and implement best practices related to security, compliance, and infrastructure management.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience:
    • Requires three (3)+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 and/or Azure environments.
    • Strong PowerShell scripting experience for automation and reporting required.
    • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation required.
    • Strong customer service orientation and experience supporting end users.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities: 

  • Microsoft Exchange Online Administration:
    • Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, shared resources, and email flow configurations.
    • Troubleshoot mail delivery issues and maintain messaging security through transport, anti-spam, and compliance policies.
  • Microsoft Intune Administration:
    • Configure and manage Intune MDM/MAM solutions across Windows, iOS, and Android environments.
    • Deploy applications, security configurations, compliance policies, and endpoint updates.
  • Azure Administration:
    • Administer Azure Active Directory users, groups, roles, and access controls.
    • Support Azure security, synchronization, and cloud infrastructure operations.
  • Windows Server & Infrastructure Administration:
    • Maintain Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
    • Monitor system performance and implement security best practices.
  • Virtual Infrastructure Management:
    • Manage virtualization platforms, virtual machines, and infrastructure performance.
    • Support system availability, upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Operational Support & System Administration:
    • Perform operational monitoring, troubleshooting, and support for Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
    • Maintain documentation, support end users, and stay current on Microsoft technologies and best practices.
