JANUS Research Group is seeking a Chief Operations Engineer at Buckley Space Force Base to support the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Lead Integration, Test, and Evaluation with 24/7 Operational Support (FLITE+) program. This role supports system design, engineering and integration, engineering services, information technology professional services, and continuous operational support, all focused on advancing methods that increase the speed and reliability with which the Government delivers software and hardware to operational environments.
The Chief Operations Engineer will:
  • Perform role as Chief Operations Engineer for Missile Warning Integration and Test.
  • Operational engineering oversight of MW systems
  • Integration and test support to live 24/7 operations;
  • Configuration and sustainment management of mission systems;
  • Operational risk identification and mitigation;
  • Crossfunctional coordination between engineering and operations teams;
  • Mission performance monitoring and readiness validation.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in engineering or related technical discipline and8 years relevant operational engineering experience
  • Demonstrated leadership of missioncritical system operations.
  • Experience supporting integration and test in operational environments
  • Ability to operate in a TS/SCI classified environment.
