Job Summary
Under the direction of the DPW Deputy Commissioner of Wastewater, the Collection System Operations Manager oversees the daily operations and maintenance of the wastewater collection system. This position provides direct supervision to collection system operations personnel and the GIS Engineer, ensuring efficient performance and compliance with departmental objectives. The role is responsible for managing sewer rehabilitation, repair, and installation projects within assigned budgets, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with established standards and regulations. The incumbent coordinates personnel, resources, and project activities to support the effective operation and long-term reliability of the wastewater collection system.
