About the Role
Fleet Farm is seeking an Ecommerce Integration Developer to join our Ecommerce IT team. In this role, you'll analyze complex technical challenges, design scalable solutions, and develop integrations that power our ecommerce ecosystem. You'll work across multiple enterprise platforms to ensure reliable data flow, system performance, and a seamless customer experience.
This is a hands-on development position requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to independently troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and implement production-ready code. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across technical and business teams, and taking ownership of projects from analysis through deployment.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ecommerce platforms and enterprise systems including OMS, ERP, CRM, PIM, DAM, payment providers, and third-party applications.
  • Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and develop permanent technical solutions.
  • Build, test, and maintain APIs, automation processes, data feeds, and system integrations.
  • Write, debug, test, and deploy code supporting ecommerce applications and integrations.
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce, Merchandising, IT, and business partners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance analysis to ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for integrations, processes, and system configurations.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Support production releases, enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of software development or integration development experience.
  • Experience designing and developing APIs and system integrations.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries (Oracle SQL/PL/SQL preferred).
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Perl, or Shell scripting.
  • Experience debugging applications and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Experience working throughout the software development lifecycle, from analysis and design through implementation and deployment.
  • Ability to independently analyze technical problems and develop scalable production-ready solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting ecommerce or retail technology platforms.
  • Experience working with OMS, ERP, CRM, PIM, DAM, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Understanding of retail data concepts such as SKU, UPC, Item, inventory, and product data.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
