Job description

Position Title: Integration Technician I

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Location: Deland, FL (In-Person)

Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shift (8 hours), M-F

Brief Description: We are looking for an integration technician to work in a manufacturing setting at our Deland, FL location. Integration technicians will primarily assist with the rigging of loads. Needed is a dependable individual who can multi-task with exceptional communication skills. This individual will need to be a team player. The ability to work safely alone and around others is essential to this position as well. If you are a detailed oriented self-starter who can take initiative and prioritize and you have the required skill set and knowledge we want you!

Coastline Power Solutions is an industry leading specialty power systems integrator that services the power generation industry. Located in DeLand, Florida, we engineer and manufacture customized generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and trailers, as well as provide a full suite of other related products and services, including bi-fuel systems, Mitsubishi engines and parts, and more. We also integrate and facilitate the testing of all customer-supplied and third-party equipment, which enables us to offer convenient turnkey solution options. Ourengineered products are installed in critical applications throughout the United States and internationally, serving government agencies, the military, police and fire departments, hospitals, assisted living facilities, schools, data centers, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Position and ensure that load is safely attached to crane before making any lift.
  • Move enclosures, fuel tanks, equipment, and materials to and from industrial work areas.
  • Rig and load units onto trucks for transport.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work area and tools.
  • Various other duties as required, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in rigging.
  • Ability to work safely alone and around others.
  • Experience reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and specifications a plus.
  • Possess strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.
  • Must pass drug test.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic reading, math, and writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and highly motivated.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Ability to work overtime on occasion.
  • Must be flexible to updated changes in production schedules.
  • Possess appropriate tools to perform job duties.

Physical Requirements:

  • May frequently lift or move heavy weight material and work in difficult positions.
  • Frequent mental and visual attention on an intermittent basis.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, push and pull, work at heights, and in small tight spaces.
  • Requires working under somewhat disagreeable conditions on a frequent basis where elements such as dust, dirt, heat, fumes, cold, vibration, noise, water or chemicals may be present.
