The AVP, Treasury will play a crucial role in driving strategic growth and ensuring the financial stability of Cantor Fitzgerald's broker-dealer operations. This senior-level position involves direct collaboration with senior management, including the global Treasurer and financing desks, to enhance treasury processes and controls. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in corporate treasury within capital markets, with a deep understanding of broker-dealer and prime brokerage business models.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management is required; CTP or MBA is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury within Capital Markets, with prior experience in mentoring junior staff.
  • Deep knowledge of Broker Dealer and Prime Brokerage business models, repo, and stock loan.
  • Advanced analytical skills, strong project management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong executive presence.

  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance the Prime Brokerage platform's treasury processes and controls, presenting recommendations to senior management.
  • Oversee Network Management support for the PB business unit, including legal documentation, cash management system implementation, and operational setup.
  • Direct liquidity metrics production and management, analyze capital metrics for rating agencies, and oversee secured financing and free cash investments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely production and distribution of funding snapshots and cash/collateral reports, escalating exceptions as needed.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements for 15c3-3 deposit and reserve computations.
  • Own and lead updates to the firm's Contingency Funding Plan, coordinating with key stakeholders.
