Job description

As a System Engineer Sr you will be an integral member of the Engineering team. You will serve as an expert in your field of focus (such as software, mobile fluid power, industrial fluid power, electronics, etc.) and work with customers and various other groups within Nott Company to provide technical support and develop systems and solutions for Nott Company and our customers.
What will you be doing?
  • Act as the program manager and project engineer on complex multidiscipline projects.
  • Select components, create quotations, and design circuits.
  • Create Bills of Material, schematics, software, and other technical documentation.
  • Create software for customer and internal projects.
  • Act as a mentor within the engineering team.
  • May have the responsibility to provide work direction and set priorities for members of the engineering team.
  • Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or AAS in Fluid Power
  • Minimum of 4 years with a Master's degree or 7 years with Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 13 years with AAS in fluid power and controls system design
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • In depth knowledge of field of focus
  • Strong technical decision making
  • Proficient at analyzing data; proficient at CAD Software
