Position: Contracts Coordinator
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Type of job-Contract
Duration: 12 months
JOB DESCRIPTION:-
Provide contract administration support for the Supply Chain Contracts Center of Excellence (CoE). The CoE conducts all contractual activities supporting design & development, production and indirect services.
Establish, maintain and revise contract files in accordance with the Contracts department procedures and with supervision from Contract Administrator(s).
Prepare Contract Summary using the contract document, for coordination and dissemination to order entry team, with guidance from Contract Administrator(s).
Type and distribute contract documents, briefing charts, contract summaries, correspondence and similar documents and maintain accurate records and logs of correspondence as required.
Receive incoming telephone calls, direct inquiries and incoming mail and route in a timely manner to appropriate personnel.
Coordinate travel, meetings, calendar entries and expense reports for Contract Administrators.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-2 Years

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific activities include, but are not limited to:

Creating and maintaining contracts into Ariba, the primary contract database

Migrate files from hard copies or other electronic repositories to Ariba

Updating existing contracts already in Ariba to current contracting philosophy

IMPORTANT NOTE:-

  • No Visa Sponsor ship is available.
  • Contract to Hire for the right candidate
  • HS diploma is the minimum education requirement (advanced degree is preferred).
  • Interviews will be first conducted by phone followed by on-site interview.
Qualifications

SKILLS REQUIRED:-

  • Mid-level to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Working in a company's ERP system (such as SAP - basically some experience with billing and administration systems)
  • Previous experience with Ariba.
  • Good listening, communication and analytical skills.
