PLM Analyst

Sunnyvale, CA | Redmond, WA | New York, NY | Austin, TX – on site

As Product Configuration Analyst, you will work side-by-side with engineering and business teams that are leading innovation in this exciting new product category.

The Product Configuration Analyst will support product programs by managing component and BOM creation from early concept through obsolescence. You will be able to define system configuration best practices. You are flexible, responsive, hands-on and able to manage competing demands.

Working in Siemens Teamcenter PLM:

  • Support Reality Labs product projects from pre-concept through obsolescence
  • Create and release manufacturers, manufacturer and vendor parts, internal part numbers in the PLM system
  • Collect data, interpret drawings, specifications and other data sources
  • Create, and release Bills of Material based on input from Engineering, Project Management and Manufacturing to support NPI and production product releases
  • Initiate and manage ECOs, MCOs, Deviations and Stop Ships
  • Communicate Engineering BOM requirements between Supply Chain and Production to facilitate material planning, order fulfillment and execution
  • Manage and organize complex projects and priorities, solve problems that impact release progress and provide detailed information to cross functional teams
  • End user support and problem resolution

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of related experience in a high tech, fast paced, consumer electronics environment managing Engineering design/documentation releases
  • Experience with Mechanical CAD and ERP systems
  • Familiarity with ANSI/EIA-649 or CMII
