Job description

Who we are
More efficient. More accurate. More accessible. Exol is bringing industry-leading automation to businesses of all sizes through an innovative warehouse-as-a-service model.
What we need
We are seeking a Systems Analyst who will serve as the functional and systems subject matter expert for Manhattan Active Transportation Management (MATM). You will bridge the gap between business needs and system capabilities-handling configuration, data setup, integration, testing, and operational support across EXOL's North American transportation operations (Retail, Wholesale, eCommerce, and 3PL).
What we do
Exol* is pioneering warehousing-as-a-service, offering outsourced warehousing operations, and specializing in automated warehousing solutions. Our focus is on the efficient movement of goods in cases and pallets across all sectors, such as wholesale, retail, and general merchandising.
*Exol is an independently managed joint venture between Symbotic and Softbank.
What you'll do
Solution Delivery & MATM Configuration
  • Translate business requirements into MATM configurations, business rules, and operational workflows.
  • Manage master data setup (customers, carriers, locations, rates) and validate against business needs.
  • Support end-to-end transportation deployments and environment migrations according to EXOL standards.

Systems Integration
  • Support integrations between MATM and external systems (ERP, MAWM, carrier platforms, EDI networks, parcel providers).
  • Participate in data mapping reviews, transaction validation, and carrier onboarding/connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot data flows, interfaces, and transaction issues.

Testing & Deployment
  • Develop and execute SIT/UAT scenarios, document test results, and manage defect resolutions.
  • Support cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-production hypercare/stabilization.

Operations & Continuous Improvement
  • Perform root-cause analysis on system issues and drive production incident resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize routing efficiency, carrier performance, and shipment visibility.
  • Maintain comprehensive functional designs, configuration docs, test scripts, and training materials.

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, IT, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Manhattan Active Transportation Management (MATM).
  • Strong understanding of transportation operations (Fulfillment, 3PL, Retail, or eCommerce).
  • Familiarity with APIs, middleware, and transportation EDI transactions (204, 214, 210, 990).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional and customer-facing teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating MATM with MAWM or ERP platforms.
  • Experience onboarding carriers via APIs/EDI across multiple modes (Parcel, LTL, FTL, Cross-dock).
  • Understanding of freight rating, settlement, audit, and customer billing processes.
  • Experience with multi-site rollouts and transportation startups.

Our environment
  • Up to 25% travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
