Job description

The System Administrator I is responsible for a balanced combination of Help Desk support and system administration. System Administrator I time will be spent split between user-facing technical support and system, endpoint, and cloud administration responsibilities which will adjust as team and priorities arise. This role serves as a key operational member of the IT team, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 Help Desk coverage while also performing hands-on systems administration tasks including endpoint management, end user training, network infrastructure support, Microsoft 365 administration, identity support, documentation, and security operations. The System Administrator I works closely with the System Administrator II and Director of IT Services to support daily operations, maintain system reliability, and strengthen security posture. May require after-hours on-call support and is supervised by the Director of IT Services.
