Job Description

Are you a digital marketing leader with deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a passion for driving innovation across email and SMS channels?

Join our team as aSenior Advisor, Email & SMS Marketing Enablement, where you'll lead the business in enterprise-level initiatives that transform how we engage audiences through personalized, data-driven marketing.

As a Senior Advisor, you will be the strategic and business-side technical lead for email and SMS marketing enablement, responsible for identifying and translating complex business goals to technical teams responsible for delivering scalable, technology-powered solutions. You'll spearhead net-new initiatives, optimize audience engagement, and ensure compliance with evolving data privacy standards-all while collaborating across teams to deliver seamless, high-impact campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Campaign Enablement

  • Design and execute sophisticated email and SMS marketing journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data Cloud.
  • Lead segmentation, automation, and personalization strategies aligned with business objectives.

Data Management & Audience Strategy

  • Develop advanced data management plans to support personalized marketing, including segmentation automations, reporting frameworks, and performance insights.
  • Activate audience strategies using Salesforce Data Cloud to drive precision targeting at scale.

Compliance & Deliverability Leadership

  • Champion consent and preference management initiatives, ensuring compliance with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and other regulations.
  • Implement data hygiene practices and monitor sender reputation using tools like Validity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a key stakeholder in enterprise initiatives, partnering with Product, IT, and Performance Marketing teams to align marketing solutions with business goals.
  • Enable cross-channel testing strategies that drive insights and optimize campaign performance.

Technology Adoption & Team Enablement

  • Lead the adoption of new features and technologies across the email/SMS marketing stack.
  • Provide guidance and input to technical team responsible for operationalizing new technologies.

Roadmap Development

  • Collaborate with leadership to help shape the Email & SMS Marketing Enablement roadmap, identifying strategic use cases and innovation opportunities.
  • Assists with defining and measuring the operational success metrics for the delivery of new technologies.
What You Bring
  • Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, and Einstein features.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, with experience designing and activating audience segmentation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of email/SMS marketing best practices, including deliverability optimization, compliance, and data hygiene.
  • Technical proficiencyin HTML, CSS, SQL, AMPscript, and JSON; experience with API integrations for cross-platform automation.
  • Analytical skillsusing tools like Adobe Analytics and Tableau to interpret KPIs and optimize performance.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (required); Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant (preferred).
  • Experience: 6+ years in enterprise or agency roles focused on email/SMS marketing strategy, operations, or platform engineering.
