Pulmonary - General and Sleep Medicine Opening in Wisconsin-Located in La Crousse, WI-Full Time & PermanentHealth System in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join an established and collegial department. You may expect a busy practice in a physician-led organization, committed to both high quality patient care and patient satisfaction.Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Responsibilities:

  • Outpatient and inpatient
  • Outpatient schedule includes Monday - Friday, day hours
  • Inpatient coverage is minimal at this time but may expand
  • The practice provides consults and management for a wide variety of pulmonary and sleep related disorders
  • Pulmonary specific responsibilities include clinic-based visits, hospital consults and pulmonary procedures (diagnostic bronchoscopy and basic pleural procedures)
  • Sleep specific responsibilities include management of sleep related breathing disorders and interpretation of overnight oximetry
  • If candidate has additional sleep training, other opportunities include polysomnogram interpretation, management of sleep behavior disorders, parasomnias, insomnia and restless legs
  • Critical Care Medicine Responsibilities:
  • Include primary management of critically ill medical and surgical patients in a busy 12 bed ICU
  • Education opportunities also available with rotating Family Medicine Residents
  • License or Certification:
  • Pulmonary and critical care credentials required
  • Strong preference for Sleep Medicine training
