As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and establish individualized treatment goals.
• Develop and implement customized treatment programs based on physician referrals and evidence-based practices.
• Utilize specialized techniques to address various conditions, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine-related issues.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel valued and supported throughout their rehabilitation.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated frameworks for optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises and strategies to promote recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
• Achieve monthly utilization goals and contribute to overall business objectives, demonstrating a proactive approach to care delivery.

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population that may range from elderly individuals recovering from surgery to young athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries. Each patient will receive an individualized plan tailored to their specific conditions, enhancing their recovery process. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, contributing to effective patient interactions.
• Proficient word processing and computer skills to maintain accurate patient records.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in a similar role, with prior experience in home care settings being particularly advantageous. Synchrony Rehabilitation Center offers an attractive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive suite of benefits.
